• This is a very well developed book as a PhD thesis should be. The photos and illustrations are superior. The only reason I did not vote five stars is the font is small for my failing eyes. I must say I have only had the book a short time and have only read the first three chapters. The material is well presented. I appreciate depth of information and the clarity in which the author conveys his view of the evidence. There are many photographs all through the book and I will admit that I went through the pictures first! But this is not a book to skim through the text. It is meaty and delicious.
