- Wow! What a perfect name for this book - when I ended it--I felt like I had had a glass of wine and a great dinner by the water with good friends. What could be better? This book has ALL different types of beach houses to suit every taste. (which makes sense - not everything is going to appeal to all types. Potato, pototo.) I would say four or five of them had me GASPING at the beautiful pictures, and the magical nature scenes, and a couple were like, "That's just okay." But all of the stories made you feel good. And yes......happy! Now I'm really inspired for my own (future) beach house!!!!

- Seemed to be more about decoration than design. Stories / anecdotes at the beginning got repetitive by the end. Also seemed to contradict its own recommendations for color / fabric mixes between some of the decorated home stories. That said, it did have many nice (obviously retouched) photos to spark ideas.
- It’s a nice hard cover book for your coffee table. I only feel it needs more pictures showing facade and beach, how they come together. They have a lot of interior design images which are nice, but I wanted to see the ocean vs house element more.
- Great coffee table book. Images are bright, cheerful, and pleasant... and plentiful.
- Bought as a gift. She browsed each page and enjoyed it. Beautiful as gift but inspiring for yourself.
- Clearly, a wonderful coffee table book and so much more - it truly is a guide and trip through coastal living that many of us appreciate and value - good value.
- It’s good if you want to buy new furniture of any sort.
